To Where The Door Leads

From where the door came, and to where it did go
Without passing thru, no person could know

Did it lead to the future, or back to the past
To a moment that froze, or one that went by to fast

Unable to peek thru, no one could know what laid on the other side
Was it the entrance to life, or where you passed thru when you died

Fueled with desire,  yet nearly frozen with dread
I slowly passed under, the great stoney head

Did it lead out, or did it come in
After using it once, it would not open again

To where the door led, I never will tell
But it was not to heaven, nor was it to hell
