You tinker down there,
Alone in your shop.
Hoping your next creation,
Won’t be another flop.

You came up with the
Which turned tidying up,
Into five-hour chores.

Then there was the
Which kept offering the children,
A nice ice-cold beer.

And just last week your
Had no real purpose,
Except chasing the kids.

I know that they say,
Necessity is the mother of invention.
But is remembering the necessity,
Too much to mention.
